BRRROTHERS partnered with BIMA to curate + install a solo exhibition

BRRROTHERS meticulously curated, installed, and managed a thoughtfully designed solo exhibition at the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art, which is situated in the picturesque and scenic area of Washington state. This exhibition showcased the compelling and innovative works of the talented artist C. Bennett. This carefully organized exhibition not only highlighted Bennett's unique artistic vision and remarkable creativity but also emphasized the interactive art experiences that were meticulously crafted to engage the audience on a deeper and more meaningful level, fostering a genuine connection between the art and its viewers.

Cory Bennett Anderson (Poulsbo) refers to his work as Neo-Pop, combining pop themes, iconic images, and neo-expressionist techniques to reflect modern society and its complexities.

An active muralist and community-based artist, Anderson displays a unique combination of urban street style with the use of found media and finds an endless supply of complex and relevant subject matter. Each painting evokes a sense of reverence, often mixed with nostalgia.

Anderson’s heroes range from political figures, writers and poets, musicians, actors, and other recognizable icons. He beckons the viewer to ponder their own heroes and to celebrate their contributions to our lives. Anderson notes: “I paint imagery that evokes beauty through story-telling and positive messages. I strive to elevate others through art. I like to think that by creating, I can affect or change the lives and the outlooks of people that I would otherwise never have the chance to affect.”
